The Manchester United superstar Robin van Persie said he feels nice and fit more so as he is in the preparation to lead his national team Netherlands in the 2014 FIFA World Cup. During the 2013/2014 season, Van Persie suffered an injury that made him miss a good number of matches at his club.

The Manchester striker has therefore not played as many games as he could have wanted to. Besides all this injury issue, Robin van Persie could pull a surprise in the upcoming summer tournament.

He said that he has not returned to his best form as he rushed the healing process that he is of much confidence that he will perform extra well in the 2014 FIFA World Cup which is just around the corner.

When he talked to the Guardian, Van Persie said that he feels nice. He adds that since he has not been able to play the whole season, his mind is a bit fresh. He also said that his knee is okay and looks forward to help his national team clinch the 2014 FIFA World Cup glory.

Van Persie said that he is now capable of playing a full game. When they played against Southampton in the Barclays Premier League, Van Persie was in the pitch for a total of 67 minutes which is a very good time.

He says that the friendly matches that awaits his national team before the 2014 FIFA World Cup will be beneficial to him. He is very sure he can play a bit longer than before. The Red Devils striker are hopeful to better their position in 2010 World cup where they finished as runners up.

The star has also been consult on the change of the form they play that is from the current 4-3-3 to 3-5-2. Louis Van Gaal will also be part of the Netherland’s squad for the world cup.

He says that he has shared his ideas with Van Persie and are determined for the best. Van Persie’s current season has seen him net 24 times with a total of 4 assist goals.
