Adnan Januzaj and Wayne Rooney have received backing from Ryan Giggs when it comes to taking the upcoming 2014 FIFA World Cup with a storm.
Although Rooney will not be available in the successive third match for the red Devils, his coach is hopeful that he will be fit for the 2014FIFA World Cup. Rooney has a groin problem that will not allow him play the scheduled club match.
On the other hand, Januzaj will not be considered a threat by the teams in opposition. This is because the 19 years old uprising star has not won any cap on international stage. Januzaj joined Belgium after he was termed not legible to play for England till 2018.
The young star has however had a very good season in the hands of David Moyes at Manchester United. Moyes however at his last times at United used Januzaj with a lot of care so as to avoid his exhaustion.
The current Manchester United coach however believes that the Belgium born star will perform well in the upcoming summer tournament. Giggs said that Januzaj may pull a surprise at the 2014 FIFA World Cup. He adds that he was happy watching the star play in the Tuesday clash against Hull City.
Giggs further said that the likes of Lukaku, Hazard, Mignolet and Januzaj may lead Belgium into higher stages of the World Cup. He adds that they will bring Belgium an outsider closer to the World Cup glory.
Giggs said that for England to reach a level they are targeting, they will greatly make use of Rooney who is currently the best player of England. Giggs says that Rooney has the pace, power and eye for the ball that will make Uruguay, Italy and Costa Rica sweat in the group matches.
With two years world cup experience, Rooney is said to perform even better. The superstar has however had the world cup with injuries that prevent him from showcasing his best.
Ryan Giggs concludes that this toe injury won’t be a preventive measure for him scoring goals at the world cup.
