On Tuesday during the training session of England, the only players who were absent included Leighton Baines and James Milner. This was part of the final preparation for England as they plan to face Peru in a friendly match on 30th May.
Milner reason for missing the training session was because of the cold he suffered that day. On the other hand, Baines was given the permission to leave the camp so as to go and solve some family related matters.
This however has not caused an alarm to the England squad as the left back of Everton is expected to join his teammates on Tuesday evening and continue with the training sessions.
England national team worries a lot on the man injuries of Wayne Rooney and his teammate Phil Jones who play for Manchester United. Arsenal duo Alex Oxlade Chamberlain and Jack Wilshere are the players who their injuries are putting Roy Hodgson, the England manager in the worrying state.
Jones who has not been able to take part in any full contact training session suffered a shoulder injury during the last season games of the premier League. Wane Rooney on the other hand suffers from a groin injury.
Wayne is said to be the center of focus for England when you talk of winning the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Rooney missed the 2006 and 2010 world cup due to the very same reason, injuries.
The reservist players, Jon Flanagan who plays for Liverpool and Everton’s John Stones accompanied the squad heading to Brazil and were also present during the training session last week.
After facing Peru on 30th may, the Hodgson’s men will play Ecuador on 4th June then Honduras on 7th June before they fly to Brazil for the summer tournament that kicks off on 12th June.
Wilshere will be suing the friendly matches to build his fitness in readiness for the world cup. The Arsenal superstar has not played since March when he suffered an injury.
