The England superstar Alex Oxlade Chamberlain said that despite the England squad having a majority of young players who are inexperienced with international football they are hoping to perform extremely well at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
When naming his 23 man squad and 7 reservist players, the England boss Roy Hodgson based on the very young player who will bring fresh football talent in the England national team.
Many of the England fans and supporters have said that the England manager has the future of the team at heart when considering the youthful squad. England national team will play in major tournament that will be a preparation for the 2016 European Championship.
The Arsenal player said that there is no player in the training camp that is taking the upcoming summer task lightly. He says that the team is focused to reach the latter stages of the 2014 FIFA World Cup. He said that all of the players in the squad have the potential of taking England to the place it deserves.
When he was talking to The Sun, Chamberlain said that the young and fresh players who have been featured in the squad are rendered a special team to Hodgson’s team. He said that good performance is vital when one goes to the competition.
He says that all of his teammates are going to the 2014 FIFA World Cup with a winning attitude. He said that they should not consider the summer tournament as the stepping stone in their football career.
He said that although it won’t be easy winning the world cup, they are optimistic that they perform very well. He said that they will do their best even if the supporters will have their own version.
The Arsenal star says that they will enjoy and work hard for the home country. Chamberlin was named into the England squad despite suffering a hamstring injury. The player who is aged 20 years said that his injury is not something to worry about.
