This coming summer seem to be very bright for Adam Lallana as he is expected to grace the finals of the World Cup. The International star has however not been carried away with all this.
Lallana who is the midfielder in Southampton football club has had a very good part of this season as far as performance is concerned. His prominence has risen rapidly to an extent of receiving international recognition.
He has also shown lots of consistency when it comes to domestic level. Lallana who is now 25 years old has received nomination in the PFA player of the Year awards that are very prestigious.
The star who is said to have already booked a position in Roy Hodgson’s squad for Brazil is being linked to this move termed as “big money move.” Lallana has also attracted the attention of Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur as far as his services are concerned.
This has been the major rumors of his planned move from St Mary’s. When Lallana talked to daily Star, he said that he is happy to be associated with bigger clubs as it now proves that the management of the club is doing well as far as recruiting of good players who play good football is concerned.
He further said that all his focus and committed were subjected to Southampton and he is also thrilled to be part of the Saint’s family. He also said that missing in the Hodgson’s list won’t surprise him since he has only won a total of 3 caps.
He said that his move to Maracana from League One was challenging although has benefited him both mentally and physically hence prides of the route he took.
He added that playing for England and in front of over 80000 fans is quite demanding and one is subjected to pressure. he says that he focus on playing and working hard as always in order to secure a place in England’s 23 man squad.
